iSpot.tv competes for the best talent. Our compensation packages consist of salary and equity in one of Seattle’s hottest start-ups, as well as other standard benefits. Most importantly, we provide a really interesting working experience, and the chance to contribute to the success of something great.
Responsibilities:
Day to Day Juicer/ Flight Work
- Sort through all incoming videos from Vivvix/Cops to reject any brands/spots that we currently do not take before pushing accepted ones to our review process to further inspect video quality
- Review all videos for quality purposes (audio distortion, artifacts, clips of other ads, etc)
- Ensuring all accepted ads have accurate brands, products, tags, and other meta data
- Use video editing software for any unacceptable videos where possible through touchups. This includes adding intro cards to animatic tests or other client requests.
- Maintaining a list of uneditable ads that need to be replaced. Ops uses Spotchop to notify Cops that we have found videos that need replacement and put them through the iSpot replacement process. Ops routinely re-checks the ads on our list to see if they have been replaced and track the progress.
- Organizing all accepted ads and maintaining a backlog for testing purposes
- Arranging ads in flights for daily surveys in a way that balances more entertaining ads with less interesting ones, keeps a variety of industry types in each flight, and maintains an acceptable survey length (keeping ad lengths balanced and as well as extras such as intenders and custom questions)
- Routine testing of providers for quality purposes
- Following up with providers and on any surveys that have not closed in a reasonable amount of time.
- Analyze and process Ace Metrix surveys once they are out of field to remove any spam, bots, or poor data/respondents that would otherwise appear in the UI. CS can request priority ads/flights that need to be done quicker so Ops can jump to the process earlier in the day
- If any survey has an excess of poor quality responses, investigate the reasoning and negotiate free re-testing with the provider
- Track and update progress of any pre-tests, client, sales, or marketing requests through Salesforce Ad Test Request page
- All of the above is also done for our Spanish language and 6 second ads (short) line of businesses
- Organize all testing for In-Market including organizing the flight, sorting the testing backlog, sending the weekly surveys, tracking survey progress, & processing results.
Custom Requests
- Building custom questions by client, marketing, or sales request
- Custom questions can include caboose questions also sent by research for general market research use. Clients, marketing, and sales can also use the caboose to test new questions or gather data for potential target tests
- Assist CS with all aspects of the target testing process from guiding the request to make sure it’s feasible, bidding the project with various suppliers, advising CS on the best supplier in terms of cost/quality/timing, and programming any screeners for the test when it’s approved.
- Help CS update any ads or other custom requests they may have.
- Create new clients, user logins, and groups within our system for tracking purposes, private testing, and to allow for user access to the UI
- Assist marketing/sales in testing outreach and prospective client ads
And Beyond
- Maintaining a list of potential new survey providers to possibly use in the future depending on if our ad volume is increasing or a poor quality provider needs to be replaced
- When a potential provider has been determined, verify their potential by ensuring they meet our quality standards and negotiate a reasonable cpi for our genpop testing. Manage all test flights to build the data needed to create panel weighting for the new provider.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy
iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency.
Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA; El Segundo, CA; New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule. If you have questions regarding exact details of our hybrid & flexible workplace policy, please let your recruiter know and they will discuss with you further.
