This ad that aired during Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1, 2009 advertises the 2009 Hyundai Genesis. As the winner of the 2009 North American Car of the Year award, Hyundai comically imitates its competitors Lexus and BMW. Employees from Lexus and BMW are seen furious as they receive the news of Hyundai’s award. Though they are not speaking in English, they still manage to pronounce “Hyundai” correctly. Hyundai states that saying its name is easy as it sounds similar to “Sunday.”
