Doritos 2009 Super Bowl Commercial, Crystal Ball
This Doritos ad that aired during Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1, 2009 is centered in the breakroom at an office. An employee is holding a crystal ball that resembles a snowball. His co-worker approaches him to investigate what his crystal ball says. The man holding the crystal ball asks if they will have free Doritos for lunch. After shaking the ball, he throws it at the vending machine, breaking the glass. Another employee runs into the breakroom to raid the free Doritos. In the end, one of the employees asks the crystal ball if he will finally receive a big promotion and then throws the ball toward the doorway just as his boss walks in. After hitting his boss in the chops, he realizes that a promotion is not in his future.
