Denny’s 2009 Super Bowl Commercial, Nanerpus
This Super Bowl 2009 ad features Denny’s Grand Slam breakfast that includes a combination of eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes. Starting the commercial off with a character called Nanerpus, a banana that dances and talks, Denny’s pokes fun at its competition. Denny’s announced that on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, it will give a free Grand Slam breakfast to everyone in America.
