Merrick's Backcountry Raw Infused recipes are made from freeze-dried raw meat and based on an ancestral canine diet, so the company decided to test it out on dogs' wild ancestors: wolves. After setting up a bowl of regular dog food and a bowl of Merrick Backcountry in the woods, Merrick's night-vision cameras caught a pack of wolves ignoring the regular food and cleaning out the Merrick bowl.
