In this breaking news segment from Seeker and Science Channel, it's revealed that based on findings from NASA's 2015 New Horizons spacecraft, Pluto has dunes made of methane ice possibly made as a result of the sun warming nitrogen ice into a gas that lifts the methane grains into dune forms. Another possibility is that the grains could have been blown down from neighboring mountains. Both theories demonstrate that Pluto's surface is active.
