When a waitress at a local diner finds herself observing two young girls begging their father for chocolate milk, she can't help herself zoning out and day dreaming about red carpets... only to be jolted back to the present by the ring of a bell. She meditates on how people say that if you can dream it, you can be it -- but realizes that it takes vision, belief and above all else, action. She says that at the American Black Film Festival, scheduled for June 2020 at Miami Beach, "the dream is real."
