DIRECTV TV Spot, 'Cable Corp Merges With CableWorld' Feat. Jeffrey Tambor

A meeting is taking place at CABLE Headquarters. The head of Cable Corp, played by actor Jeffrey Tambor, informs his staff that in order to compete with DirecTV, the company is merging with CableWorld. This news is met with universal objections by members of the staff, including one played by John Michael Higgins, who refer to CableWorld as incompetent, obnoxious and even pungent. Their boss quickly hushes them and reveals that the heads of CableWorld are already in the room. They are posed at the foot of the table with a cake, balloons and sparklers to welcome the Cable Corp employees to the CableWorld family. However, that alliance might not last long, as the head of CableWorld (Fred Willard) exclaims how much fun it will be firing everyone.
