At a table read for a new historical drama set in France, the director winces at Dominic Sessa's amateurish French pronunciation, giving him a polite suggestion to work on the language before they begin shooting. Dominic takes the note to heart and books a trip with Hotels.com to a historic French hotel to help him get into character. Surrounded by luxury worthy of the Sun King himself, Dominic grows out his hair and practices his French night and day. The hotel employee who delivers Dominic's dry-cleaning may be surprised to be addressed as "mon amour", but even he must notice Dominic's accent is much improved.
