In our ongoing quest to become the speediest and most accurate TV data company, we are happy to announce an update to our estimated spend algorithm.
This update will include:
- Smarter consideration of make goods, overnight, mirror and DRTV units.
- Calibration of our spend data against quarterly SEC filings where networks disclose their aggregate advertising revenues.
- Classification of Show promo units as either regular ad units if they are out-of-network or as in-network promos with an estimated media value (instead of spend).
- Retro-active update of all data back to January 1, 2014. These updates will occur as rolling updates during the month of September, 2015.
