The Official Top 10: Super Bowl Commercials by Digital Activity

iSpot.tv’s official 2015 Game Day Super Bowl top ten commercials have been calculated by digital activity across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and search. Online activity is also weighted so that promoting and sharing is worth more than just watching.

Always’ “Like A Girl”, was an instant success during the game, but it wasn’t until the next day that it edged out Budweiser’s “Lost Dog”, as Super Bowl 2015’s top commercial by digital activity.

McDonald’s “Pay With Lovin”, came in third and was an instant success for the re-branded fast food chain with an 89% positive sentiment. Our fourth place commercial was the first to feature a celebrity. T-Mobile’s “Kim’s Data Stash” featured Kim Kardashian poking fun at herself.

Super Bowl regular’s Coca-Cola came in fifth with an equally global but far less controversial spot than last year’s bi-lingual rendition of “America The Beautiful”. Bud Light continued there “Up For Whatever” theme with a life-size Pac-man game at number six, while BMW also went retro with a Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric flashback to discovering the internet in 1994.
