Audi 2010 Super Bowl Commercial, Green Car
In the Super Bowl XLIV Audi commercial, the Green Police are patrolling the town, arresting individuals who commit any injustice against the environment. While Cheap Trick’s re-recorded spoof of “Dream Police” entitled, “Green Police,” plays, people are being arrested for possessing incandescent lightbulbs, plastic water bottles, Styrofoam cups and other perceived environmental violations. At one police checkpoint, a man sits in his Audi A3 TDI. The police are impressed by the clean diesel car and wave him through.
