In football, rivalries aren't always founded on equal footing, and Wendy's asserts that the same is true in the burger business. It urges its competitors to give up their beef with its never-frozen patties, claiming that true sandwich fans don't even see the comparison. The restaurant is so confident, in fact, that it decks out a helmet with its logo, launches red-and-white confetti and mows down the contentious grass on the gridiron. The freshness of its meat, Wendy's says, is a trophy all its own as well as the reason it holds the title "Official Hamburger of the NCAA."
