Valynda is a mother with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Knowing her time is limited, she began to write letters to her children for them to read when they've reached certain milestones such as graduation or becoming a parent. She also wrote down all the qualities that she loves in each of her children so that they may know what she thought of them after she passes. Nobody should have to write letters to their children because of cancer. The Susan G. Komen for the Cure encourages viewers to get involved and help save lives.
