Filmmakers Chris and Tony embark upon a getaway to the legendary Faro Island, the sprawling retreat that was famously the inspirational landscape for director Ingmar Bergman's body of work. As the days pass, the couple become increasingly alienated from one another, and Chris goes on her own authorial odyssey, during the course of which she finds the lines between reality and fiction rapidly begin to blur.
