On September 11th, 2001, the Ladder 5 firefighters rushed to help those in need in the two World Trade Center towers. After parking his Chevrolet nearby, one firefighter sprang into duty and began his harrowing work. When one tower collapsed, the Ladder 5 engine was crushed and thankfully the firefighter was lucky enough to survive. After returning to his Chevy, the man found that it was melted and burned, but still started up without a problem. Eventually, this Chevrolet became the new Ladder 5 and the firefighters named it "The Phoenix" after it rose from the ashes. Chevrolet salutes the best of us and supports those who serve.
