Modelo highlights the fighting spirit of Damian Lillard. Though Dame played basketball well in high school, he was initially benched until he worked his way off it through hours at the rec center practicing. He played at the relatively-small Weber State and excelled to become a first-round draft pick. Now, after six elections to the All Star Team, he doesn't let his success cloud his work ethic and strives to build up his home community of Oakland. Modelo says that this fighting spirit is what its beers are brewed for and why Dame is a lion.
