A mother reads a letter to her daughter, Yeong Joo. The mother understands that while her baby is perfect, her Korean name may make her feel like an outsider in her English-speaking community. On the school bus, Yeong Joo begins a friendship with a classmate who pronounces her name correctly. Other people in her life, however, continue to mispronounce her name, making her feel separated from her peers. During soccer practice, her coach mispronounces her name. While the moment is embarrassing, Yeong Joo stands up for herself and corrects him. Later, her mother tells her that her name means strength and resilience. Procter & Gamble understands that belonging begins with a name and celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage.
