In 1955, Emmett Till, a 14-year-old African American boy, was visiting his cousins in Mississippi, only to be brutally lynched. His killers were acquited at trial, a fact which led to nation-wide outcry about violence against African Americans. "TILL" tells the story of Mamie Till-Mobley, Emmett's mother, and her heartbreaking and determined quest for justice for the murder of her son.
