After nearly a decade spent hiding from agents of a mysterious government agency, Charlie McGee and her parents spark their attention after the young girl sets off a pyrokinetic reaction in her school's bathroom. They pack up and go on the run, all while attempting to subdue Charlie's increasingly erratic powers. As various forces begin to close in around them, the family must choose between keeping Charlie's powers hidden or helping her prepare for what comes next.
