Procter & Gamble says its important to see the full picture, illustrating that point with vignettes of Black men, women and kids at moments where the narrative seems to be going in specific directions. A pregnant mother with two young children waits on a sidewalk outside of a supermarket. Two youths walk aisles in a convenience store, picking up and putting down items as they browse under the watchful eye of the clerk and his security cameras. A tall man with a duffel bag keeps his head on a swivel as he knocks on a door. It's at this point the screen is "widened," revealing heartwarming-yet-perfectly-mundane conclusions to all three stories, punctuated by Proctor & Gamble's suggestion that we all should widen our views as well.
