SeeHer TV Spot, 'Our Stories' Featuring Peppermint

Peppermint, an out trans woman and actor, singer and activist, recalls what it was like to not see trans women in entertainment when she was younger. She explains that not only should trans women be in front of the camera, they should also have a place behind the scenes to ensure their stories are being told from their own perspectives. As a Black trans woman, Peppermint explains that a lack of inclusion means her story is pushed to the shadows. In collaboration with SeeHer, Peppermint calls on the entertainment industry to give the trans community the opportunity to tell their stories on camera.
