In its "Inspiring Cities of Japan" series, the Government of Japan highlights Matsuyama, the city where the 2019 G20 Labor and Employment Ministers’ Meeting will be held. The city is said to attract tourists because of its castle and hot springs. Artist Elizabeth McLean says the country is warm and feels like "coming home." Employees at local companies also express the work style reform happening, which helps make the city a more comfortable place to live and work in.
