In the season finale of Dr Pepper's "Fansville," the police department must solve the mystery of the missing national championship trophy. Brian Bosworth, the sheriff, investigates everyone from referees to ticket salesmen. His investigation leads him to former college football head coach Les Miles, who has held the trophy hostage on the roof of his gas station. When "The Mad Hatter" is struck by lightning, the Sheriff finally apprehends him, bringing his case to a close.
