Roosevelt always thought smoking only affected your lungs. He never expected his smoking habit to leave him unable to play basketball with his kids and with a scar running down his chest after a heart attack at age 45. He advises smokers to quit, and the Centers for Disease Control support this by offering four free weeks of patches, gum or lozenges to those wanting to quit smoking.
