With the help of a drill, a wife hangs her husband's stocking from the fireplace mantle and places the drill inside with a bow. As soon as she turns off the lights and leaves the room, her husband tiptoes past the Christmas tree to grab the drill. He accidentally steps on the dog's tail in the process and the dog barks, bringing his wife back into the room. She laughs when she sees him admiring his new gift.
