Family members meet up and venture out into a forest clearing in Toyota vehicles. After unloading bundles of lights from the trucks, they arrange the strings in order to set up a special message on the ground. A light snow begins to fall as they see an approaching plane carrying the message's intended recipient: their soldier, Julia, returning home from military service. She gazes out the window, sees the illuminated words, "Welcome home, Julia" and sheds joyous tears over the loving sentiment.
