Mix Maroon 5, undersexed hamsters and sci-fi technology in a top-secret Kia lab and you get fully charged fun for the new Soul.

The brand found a winning formula in the Kia Hamsters and Top 40 music. Kia combined with Lady Gaga last year to great success in, "Totally Transformed," and pulls it off again with Maroon 5.

The commercials are effective because they come hard with great creative to match the artistry of the celebrity musician.

In this case, Adam Levine croons while young "auto-scientists" mistakenly create a female hamster that is way too attractive for human comfort. Understandably, the scientist hamsters go bananas over the discovery, race to pick up more pet hamsters and duplicate the happy accident over and over.

Along the way, Kia gets to show off its sexy Soul EV; but the creative story is about our fun, familiar hamsters. Audiences can't yet get enough of their hijinks.
