John C Reily narrates the paying forward of a favorite Hawaiian Shirt. The importance of the voice-over choice is never more apparent than in this TV commercial for TurboTax. With only 15 seconds, the creative has to stop and hold a viewer almost immediately.

Mr. Reily has a vocal gravitas that stops you in your tracks, while the vocal undertone of silliness in his voice - borne of his many comedic roles - is a great fit to set-up the humor that has to be delivered in short-order.

The narration nails it enough so that the brand messaging and product moments can quickly step-in at the close. It is, arguably, a tight-fit for the editor and could benefit from more length to feel less rushed. Regardless, the commercial manages to balance silly and sales in only 15 seconds - never an easy feat.
