Eating right at Red Lobster is made easy and delicious with their Fresh Fish Menu. Eating better never tasted so goof.

iSpot Review - July 8, 2015

In a campaign more aptly titled "See Red Lobster Differently," this TV commercial dares the viewer to "SeaFood Differently."

Gone are the promises of buttery lobster bread bowls. No more with the juicy succulent crab. Red Lobster does not want you to think of it as a place to gorge on such goodness. The brand is pivoting to keep up with the market and is using this ad to drive a healthy eating message.

It is still a restaurant ad, filled with the sexy food shots you'd expect. Only now, Red Lobster is featuring flaky fish.

To hammer home the point, our narrator implores the viewer to remember that Red Lobster is a place for healthy seafood choices.

The success of the campaign will likely hinge on nailing an in-store experience for those that try the restaurant; that will build momentum and believability for this sort of messaging in the future.
