Everyone's favorite Hollywood couple is back in the latest Samsung commercial, and the debate is on: Should Kristen Bell have turned Dax Shepard's leftover Christmas gravy fridge into a wine fridge? After all, it's only six months old! With her husband's hunger in mind, Kristen moved his beloved gravy into the freezer freezer so now they can start their Chardonnay and Gravy party.

In Samsung's "Wine Over Gravy," an adorable argument between an incredibly likable Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell makes for the perfect pitch for their new refrigerator.

The spot starts with Dax opening up his beloved gravy freezer only to discover Kristen has turned it into a wine fridge. Marital cuteness ensues. Kristen, thinking that her guests would prefer to drink wine over gravy, moved his gravy to one of the other spacious areas in the 4-Door Flex. Clever writing and their sincere chemistry (they are married after all) makes all of the spots in this campaign feel like mini-romantic comedies.

With an ad as charming as this one, it wouldn't be surprising if they sacrificed some of the product focus. But Samsung manages to give an understated sell of the 4-Door Flex Refrigerator, complete with practical ways it can be used and a product demonstration. That, coupled with the hope that maybe if you buy the fridge you'll have a magically perfect relationship like Dax and Kristen, should surely make this ad a success.
