The Wizard leads an assault on a castle while dodging arrows and hurling fireballs. He isn't quick enough -- one of the arrows catches his hood and pulls it off. From under his hood a giant, luscious, afro pops out and stuns the entire battlefield. Download Clash of Clans for free and go to war.

iSpot Review - November 7, 2014

Now we know why The Wizard wears a hood. He can't do a thing with that hair.

The ad is only 15 seconds, but that's all the time we need from Clash of Clans to get hooked into a quick and quirky story.

The ad owes much to the creative team's previously successful work in exposing us to The Wizard, because we don't need long to recognize the character. Watchful viewers will remember seeing the frizzed-out wizard in our introduction to him, in "Preparation." We know he actually spends his morning time teasing out that manic mane.

The Wizard seems mortified to have his secret revealed on the battlefield. The fighting throng is brought to a standstill. A circle of warriors can only stare.

Thankfully, Hog Rider breaks the tension for us, 'cause he's totally into the wild up-do: "Ohhhh yeah!"

15 seconds is all we get from the commercial; but Hog Rider sums up all we need to know about it.
