Bud Light 2011 Super Bowl Commercial, Product Placement
A sword fight is taking place when one of the swordsmen is backed onto a table next to a bright, green spray bottle. The director stops filming and demands to know why the bright, green bottle is in his shot. An assistant notifies him that the bottle is there for product placement, and that they receive free stuff when they feature a product. The director begins to film the next few scenes where Bud Light neon signs, a pinball machine, stained glass, a lighting fixture, banners and bottles are all shown. Eventually, an entire Bud Light truck drives on set before the crew inspects a Bud Light knight in full Bud Light armor. This Super Bowl XLV spot aired in 2011 when the Green Bay Packers faced off against the PIttsburgh Steelers.
